  Project Consultants

 

Consultants working on Stanford projects may request data to support construction and maintenance. Each request is reviewed and may require additional approval.

Please submit your request by email: maps-requests@mailman.stanford.edu or through the Online Map Request form.

The request message should include:
  • Stanford University contact authorizing your request
  • Project name
  • Request details
 

   Electrical Single Line Diagrams and Systems

If you need information about building Electrical Single Line Diagrams or your project results in any change to the Electrical System (including adding or removing equipment, breakers or fuses), please contact:

               Joy Willingham,  joyw1@stanford.edu  and  Bob Fritch,  bfritch@stanford.edu

By contacting us you will be ensuring you provide the correct and needed information and the equipment you are adding will meet the calculated requirements of the system.

  Data for Stanford University Researchers or Class Projects

 

Stanford University Faculty, Staff and Students may request information to support academic research. Lecturers may arrange for use of materials by a group of students. Each request is reviewed on a case by case basis and may require additional approvals. Please allow 1-2 weeks for approvals to be completed. Additional time may be needed for complex requests.

Please send an email with the following information to Maps and Records at maps-requests@mailman.stanford.edu.

The message should include:

  • Course name and description (or indicate Faculty/Staff research)
  • Instructor's name, name of supervising manager
  • Student’s name(s), if request is for an individual or group of students
  • Timeframe the data will be needed
  • Description of the project including type of data needed
  • Description of area which data is needed for

   Information for Students

 

Research and Class Projects

Stanford University Faculty, Staff and Students may request information to support academic research. Lecturers may arrange for use of materials by a group of students. Each request is reviewed on a case by case basis and may require additional approvals. Please allow 1-2 weeks for approvals to be completed. Additional time may be needed for complex requests.

Students, please email a completed Student Agreement Form to your course instructor. Please also include the following information and request that they forward it to maps-requests@mailman.stanford.edu.

The request should include:
  • Student Agreement, form completed and signed by student
  • Course name and description, (or indicate Faculty/Staff research)
  • Instructor's name, name of supervising instructor or manager
  • Student's name(s)
  • Timeframe the data will be needed
  • Description of the project including type of data needed
  • Description of area which data is needed for

Student or Group Residences 

Student requests for residential plans must be approved by Student Housing.

The request should include:
  • Student name
  • Quad and Building number
  • Floor desired
  • Reason/activity for which information will be used
     

Please email your request to:

Students will be directed to Residential and Dining Enterprises staff for floorplans. Student Housing approval of a request for archive records of the residence are forwarded directly to Maps and Records via email as above.

 

Housing Lottery 

For residence information in preparation for the "Draw" (Stanford housing lottery), please refer to the below housing types and their responsible units.

Named Residences:  RSAS Residential Student Affair Specialist (the "Res Ed Person") or HARPSA (Housing and Residential Program Services Administrator Florence Moore) for the specific residence in question.

Row Houses:  Residential Education Office in Grove Mayfield (3-0778).

All Other Student Living Areas:  Central Residential Education Office in 306 Old Union (5-2800).
